LOG SORTS / CANTER INFEEDS
Maintain a consistent flow of logs into the log sort and into the canter infeeds:
Identify jam-ups at kick-offs in log sort in early stages before they become large jam-ups that create extended down-time.
Monitor both decks in log sort have a consistent flow to each deck with enough logs to keep both canter lines running full-time.
Make adjustments with log size sorting and communicating with supervisor and logyard crew to ensure both canter lines have enough logs to run fill-time.
