TRANSFER FROM FLOOR CHAINS

When stacker operator recognizes a gap/stop in packages being fed from floor chains to stacker incline transfers they must check HMI to see if there are full bins.

If there are any full bins stacker operator will notify supervisor and utility immediately that sorter is not dropping bins.

If there are no full bins stacker operator will check to see if any packages are on floor chains and if packages on floor chains are not advancing - stacker operator will notify supervisor and utility immediately.

Stacker operator will also identify crooked, or split, packages being transferred from sorter floor chains to stacker incline transfers. Stacker operator will stop floor chains and incline transfers to prevent ‘wrecks’ and notify supervisor and utility immediately.
